Thanks to the information provided by the Civic Participation Network, the Ninth Brigade through soldiers of the High Mountain Battalion N° 9 and police officers of the National Model of Community Surveillance by Quadrants, a man, after a voluntary search, was found in possession of two firearms.
The arrest was reported yesterday, October 12, in the municipality of Piravante. Members of the Military Forces approached Cervulo Vázquez Torres, 45 years old, finding him with a 38 caliber revolver with 20 rounds of ammunition and a 16 caliber shotgun with five rounds of ammunition, immediately this person was arrested for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and carrying firearms.
On verifying the database, it is established that Vásquez Torres has judicial records for the crime of abuse of trust and domestic violence.
The arrested individual and the firearms were put into custody of the authority that will present him before a judge of control of guarantees for the preliminary hearings of legalization of arrest and imputation of charges.
