Troops of the Third Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police and in an coordinated manner with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, achieved in recent hours an important result: the capture of 19 members of the criminal structure called “Los Guada”, which was under the command of the organized criminal group “Los Flacos”.
The work of military intelligence and the permanent collaboration of the Network of Civic Participation was vital for the Military Police Battalion No. 3 to achieve the discovery of these individuals in the urban area of the municipality of Yumbo; these people formed this criminal structure whose main objective was the financing of the drug trafficking chain.
In the middle of the procedure troops found 460 marijuana cigarettes, a rudimentary firearm, 672 barrels of liquor and two motorcycles used to transport these psychotropic and the sale of the narcotic drug in retail.
The detainees were prosecuted for conspiracy to commit crimes, trafficking, manufacturing and carrying of narcotics, homicide aggravated due to use of minors (authorities verify how many people without fulfilling the majority of Age would be linked to this organization). For now, the military are in the sector to verify if there are places used for the sale of psychoactive substances.
