Troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the brigade 13, of the National Army, captured a member of the criminal group 'Los Díaz' that commits crimes in the department of Cundinamarca, according to the investigations this individual had participation in criminal operations such as crime of forced disappearance, extortion, drug trafficking and kidnapping.
The capture took place in Bogotá thanks to information provided by a human source and is part of an investigative process that has been carried out in coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps of the General Prosecutor's Office of Bogotá since 2017, after the strange Disappearance of three young people in the Cerro Norte neighborhood of the Locality of Usaquén, whose lifeless bodies were found in May this year, the authorities have succeeded in capturing five people for these events and the investigation is still ongoing.
