Capture of individual accused to be third ringleader of Gao-R structure 48, in Putumayo

In the dock of Puerto Colon, border with Ecuador, this individual was captured by Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Putumayo.

 

After two years of monitoring and intelligence, soldiers of the National Army of the Putumayo military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and the Special Energy and Road Battalion No.9, in territorial control operations, in conjunction with the National Navy, and in coordination with the National Police and Attorney General's Office, captured the individual known as Nacar, who was wanted by three arrest warrants.

 

The 43-year-old individual is currently acting as financial coordinator of the residual organized armed group, Gao-R, structure 48, in the Department of Putumayo, with a criminal interference in the municipalities of Sucumbíos, in Ecuador; San Miguel, in Putumayo, and Ipiales, in Nariño.

 

This operational result directly hits the command and control systems of this group outlaw in the Department of Putumayo.
