Capture of presumed squad leader of the residual Organized Armed Group “Seventh Front”

Caquetá. Troops of the Caguán Specific Command, of the Joint Task Force Omega, captured Jhon Jairo Hernandez Vásquez, alias "Orlando", who was being wanted by the courts for the crimes of aggravated homicide and illegal possession of weapons. During the capture he was found to have a motorcycle, a 9 mm caliber pistol and ammunition for it.

This individual belonged to the residual Organized Armed Group “Frente Septimo” under the command of alias "Gentil Duarte", who commits crimes in the departments of Meta, Guaviare and Caquetá.

Apparently, alias "Orlando" was the head of the squad of the security commission of this front; he would in the same way be linked to the finances commission of alias “Pedro” with six more individuals and he would also be in charge of carrying out criminal intelligence against the troops, terrorist operations and intimidation of the civilian population in some villages in the municipality of La Macarena, in the department of Meta.

The captured and the material were put into custody of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office 18 to carry out the pertinent judicial proceedings.
