Troops of the Quirón Task Force, organic unit of the Eighth Division, in a joint operation with the Colombian Air Force and coordinated with the National Police, in the municipality of La Salina, department of Casanare, captured the individual known as Urías, along with three other people; they also discovered abundant war material and military accessories.
After the respective investigations, he would be the person in charge of carrying out the transport, handling and storage of explosives, as well as the collection of money from extortions perpetrated in this region.
In the operation, long weapons, grenade launchers, 9 mm pistols, abundant cartridges of different caliber, magazines, fragmentation grenade, indugel units (explosives), campaign equipment, communications elements and clothing for the exclusive use of the Military Forces.
The individuals and the materials were put into custody of the authorities.
