Thanks to the intelligence work carried out by soldiers of the Specific Command of Cauca, the Third Division of the National Army, in a joint operation, coordinated with the Battalion of Mobility and Maneuver Aviation N.° 3, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, two individuals reported to be members of the residual Jorganised armed group (GAO-r) Jaime Martinez, known by the alias Sebastian and alias Chuky, second ringleader of this armed group, were captured.
Alias Chuky and alias Sebastian would be under the command of alias El Indio, ringleader of the main Group Sixth of this organised armed group, and they would be in charge of executing targeted killings and collection of money from extortion in the municipalities of the department of Cauca, such as Buenos Aires, Mercedes, Bello Horizonte, Chambimbe, Palo Blanco, Honduras,La Cabaña, Lindros and La ESmeralds; in the same way they would be making arrangements for the acquisition of war material and accessories military for the organization.
In this military operation in the same way they seized a pistol, a magazine, ammunition, military accessories and bracelets with emblems alluding to the residual organized armed group Jaime Martinez. Those captured and the materials were put into custody of the authorities.
