In partnership with the Office of social management of the municipality of Candelaria, the Colombian Air Force through the military personnel of the Department of Comprehensive Action of the Air Combat Command No.7, attended a new presents distribution activity in which 500 children of the municipality of Pidu benefited.

The activity was carried out under the Uniendo Tejidos campaign, headed by the Social Manager Mary Castillo and which seeks to provide and generate spaces of well-being to the inhabitants in condition of vulnerability.

Through the support of donations from public and private companies, the Air Command made a kit for children, which consisted of toys, shoes and costumes. The municipality administration gave food supplies to each of the families and information was in the same way provided on the Prevention of forced recruitment and healthy living.

With this, there are four activities in which troops have worked as a team to bring smiles and well-being to the Children of Candelaria; the objective is to continue participating and work in the most vulnerable sectors to carry a message of support of the Colombian Air Force and other institutions and State security agencies.
