Within the framework of the international cooperation agreement conducted by the Colombian Air Force and its counterpart in Chile, a group of five Officers belonging to the FACh, chosen to take the Basic Course No.77 of the Helicopter School of the Military Forces, EHFAA, of the Air Combat Command No.4, CACOM4, satisfactorily fulfilled all requirements to become military pilots.

The course reached by the Chilean Officers consisted of three phases: one of 280 academic hours, in which the students learn the basic knowledge; 20 shifts of instruction in flight simulator and, of course, ate the end, the most expected, the flight missions of the aircraft.

With discipline, study and arduous preparation, these young soldiers successfully completed each of the stages of this demanding course, in which the staff of instructors of the Colombian Air Force, under all the principles of quality and safety, taught both in the theoretical phase and in practice. The students were prepared to face all the situations that may arise before, during and after the flight. Their training will lead them to fulfill helicopter different missions against transnational crimes in the region.
