In the last few hours, a citizen who had been kidnapped in Ábrego, Norte de Santander, was reunited with his family and medical examinations are being carried out to establish his state of health.

Within the framework of the Ayacucho Campaign Plan, troops of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police and the support of the Attorney General's Office, an operation was carried out that led to the finding of the citizen who had been kidnapped in the village of Labranza, Ábrego, Norte de Santander, last fifth of July of this year.

Once the intelligence work was carried out, the preparation of the soldiers of the Specific Command of Norte de Santander began, who arrived at Los Indios village, sector La Quebrada, when they arrived at the place, through review and search activities, they found the citizen tied on his feet, hands and neck with a chain secured with a padlock.

The soldiers proceed to break the chains, returning him to freedom, and the movement begins so that he can be transferred to the urban area of Ábrego and later to Ocaña, where he was received by his family. Initially, the respective medical evaluations and the support for his due assistance were carried out.
