Operations Report of the military Gaula during 2020
Thanks to the operations of the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) people have not paid 1,975 million pesos for kidnappings and 1,550 million pesos for extortions.
During 2020 the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) have made 964 captures of criminals who perpetrated extortion and 123 for kidnapping.
In the same way, 17 people who had been kidnapped have been rescued and 163 more extortions of money have been thwarted.
It is worth mentioning that during the month of November 185 tactical missions were carried out to significantly impact the finances of organized armed groups with the neutralization of three of their principal ringleaders, and with the release, by pressure of the troops, of five kidnapped people.
The military Gaula continue to invite the community to report extortion operations and kidnappings through line 147 to react and provide immediate support in the situation.
