Coca production laboratory was destroyed in Cumaribo, department de Vichada

Laboratorio para procesamiento de coca fue destruido en Cumaribo

Strategic resources of the Eastern Air Group, GAORI, led to the finding and destruction of a coca base paste production laboratory, through a joint and coordinated operation conducted by Colombian National Army, the Colombian Aerospace Force and the National Police through the Anti-Narcotics Directorate, DIRAN, which hit the finances of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Substructure-39 Arcesio Niño in the of Puerto Oriente, Cumaribo - Vichada.

Various elements used for the production of narcotics were destroyed at the site, more than 120 kilograms of coca leaf, a wooden structure, plastic and metal barrels with fuels, fertilizers, solid chemical precursors, rudimentary equipment, hoses, tanks and construction elements, thus preventing their reuse for illicit activities.

This operation complements the ongoing efforts of the Military Forces that since January have made several findings of rudimentary laboratories for the production of drugs, directly hitting the specialized drug trafficking organizations, which stop receiving approximately 200 million pesos per month for each destroyed structure.

An uninterrupted work that provides results of the powerful military operation, the result of joint and coordinated operations that demonstrate the daily commitment of the Colombian Aerospace Force in the fight against illicit activities, for the benefit of the tranquility of the communities, the security and defense of the sovereignty of the country.
