The Colombian Air Force of the Air Combat Command No.4 deployed its crews to the villages of La Uribe, Maracaibo, Juntas, la Herrera and Albania in the municipality of Rioblanco, in the south of Tolima, in order to collect the elections material and the staff of the National Civil Registry who participated in this elections activity as representatives of the institution in these villages.
Crews arrived to places difficult to access for fully completing the mission with Colombia, picking up the elections material and the voting members for transport them to their place of origin. Due to the heavy wave caused by rain throughout the region, roads are closed by landslides, falls of the benches and it was not possible to return safely.
In this way, it was possible to support the National Civil Registry and the Elections Observation Mission so that throughout the Colombian territory people could exercise the right to vote, complying with democracy.
