The Colombian Military Forces are making progress in consolidating their leadership and international projection with their participation in the Strategic Military Conference of NATO Partners, a key environment for the coordination of resources, the strengthening of alliances and the construction of cooperative security at a global level, in which the presentation of the education and training planning for the period 2027-2028 is carried out, a strategic tool that will enable Colombia to continue raising its standards of military operation and its interoperability with allied countries.
This process is aimed at strengthening interoperability under NATO standards by consolidating resources in training, doctrine and joint training, aligning institutional preparedness to face increasingly complex global security environments, projecting Colombia as a prepared, adaptable actor and in line with contemporary defense dynamics.
The participation in this space enables the Military Forces to strengthen their direct interaction with delegations of member and partner countries, consolidating: International cooperation mechanisms in security and defense, effective diplomacy channels, joint strategies against transnational threats.
This strategic relationship positions Colombia as a reliable partner, with proven experience and capacity to contribute in multilateral environments, with the following institutional representation:

Colombia consolidates its strategic leadership in NATO and strengthens its global projection
In the same way, Command Sergeant Major Yarvey Jaramillo participates as secretary of the Military Attaché of Colombia to the Kingdom of Belgium, strengthening institutional activity at the European level and strategic relationship channels.
The participation in the Strategic Military Conference of NATO Partners reaffirms Colombia's commitment to international cooperation and the strengthening of its institutional resources, in a dynamic and challenging security environment, these spaces enables the country to anticipate risks and adapt to new strategic environments incorporating better international activities in education and training, consolidating its role as a relevant actor in hemispheric and global security.
