Delegations from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain and Uruguay will participate in the event held in Colombia from 20 to 22 October.

Bogot谩 D.C., October 20, 2021.聽 In order to strengthen resources for responding to cyber incidents, and improve collaboration and cooperation among partner countries in this type of situation, the Ibero-American Cyber Defense Forum and the IV Technical Exercise were launched in Bogot谩.

This forum, which is led by the Joint Cyber Command (CCOCI), of the General Command of the Military Forces, counts on the participation of 12 delegations from member countries, which, over three days, will carry out different activities that aim to strengthen the cyber response and prepare to face threats.

First, a series of Capture The Flag (CTF) exercises is carried out, in which delegations will compete for a score, in a Unified Platform of Cyber Operations that will led to measure the Resources and response skills against simulated operations against digital environments, that can hit the civilian or military.

Subsequently, a summit of commanders of the participating countries will generate ties of international cooperation and strengthen the cyber defense of the countries participating in the forum.

Finally, the first Cyber-On academic summit will be held, with which the Joint Cyber Command will promote knowledge of the digital ecosystem, and the need to work on vulnerabilities, critical infrastructures and Response Resources.

In this way, the General Command of the Military Forces continues to strengthen international strategic relations, in order to improve its Resources in changing environments which propose cyber challenges to weaken criminals who attack the security of citizens.
