The Colombian Aerospace Force, through the National Personnel Recovery Center (CENRP), carried out two aeromedical transfers from Providencia to the Island of San Andrés, a 39-year-old male patient and a 69-year-old female patient, which required specialized medical assistance; thanks to the aeromedical intervention, it could be carried out safely and efficiently.
During the flight, a team of health professionals of the institution gave continuous care to the patients, working to provide the vital medical assistance necessary to preserve their good physical condition along the journey.
The patients were taken to the St. Andrew's Ambulance Service, which went to the Clanrence Lynd Newball Memorial Hospital, to provide them with medical care.
For the Colombian Aerospace Force, the well-being, health and life of the inhabitants is a priority, the military personnel make their resources and personnel available to safeguard the lives of the inhabitants in the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina.
