In compliance with the Themis operation and as part of the strategies aimed at contributing to security and peace building in the national territory, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 7 (CACOM 7), an aerial loudspeaker overflight is carried out, as well as the distribution of 5,000 informational brochures in different sectors of the department of Cauca.
These activities seek to send a direct message to the members of organized armed groups, inviting them to abandon their weapons, take advantage of the institutional routes provided by the National Government and opt for a way of legality that enables them to rebuild their life project together with their families.
Through these actions of strategic communication, troops promote alternatives that favor the protection of life, respect for human rights and the consolidation of security conditions for communities that have historically been affected by violence.
CACOM 7 will continue to support operations and institutional strategies that contribute to the stability of the country, bringing a message of hope and reconciliation to those who still remain outlaw.
