Within the framework of the geostrategic visit carried out by General Luis Carlos C贸rdoba Avenda帽o, Commander of the Colombian Aerospace Force to different institutions of the civil and military leadership of Spain, held a space for dialogue with General Francisco Braco Carb贸, Chief of Air and Space Staff of Spain, JEMA.
During the meeting, both counterparts addressed issues of common interest highlighting the importance of being able to generate new dynamics in terms of technological development, transfer of agreements and innovation, specifically in the importance of the use of outer space, production of satellite products, instruction, among other areas.
They in the same way highlighted the importance of promoting collaboration and mutual trust to identify opportunities for cooperation on aerospace issues that contribute to potentiating resources and developments in fields of interest implementable to aerospace exploration, according to the objectives of the National Government and the strategy for Air and Space Development of the Colombian Air Force by 2042.
The strategic interest of this visit is to carry out the signing of a Cooperation Agreement conducted by the Spanish Space Agency of the Kingdom of Spain and the Colombian Aerospace Force on cooperation in the field of space activities for peaceful purposes.
