The experience and high technical level of the Colombian Aerospace Force continue to transcend borders. On this occasion, two Non-commissioned officers of the Casanare Air Group were appointed to train Salvadoran Air Force personnel in the Basic Maintenance Course of the C-208 Caravan aircraft, consolidating the Institution as an international benchmark in military aeronautical training.
During 83 hours of instruction, ten Aviation Technical Non-Commissioned Officers received specialized training to obtain the necessary competencies in the execution of the maintenance of this aircraft, under the highest standards of military operation safety and quality. The instruction combined theoretical sessions on the different systems of the C-208 Caravan with activities that led to consolidate the knowledge and strengthen the skills of the personnel for the correct implementation of the technical procedures.
The instruction was carried out by the Chief Technician Humberto Rubio De La Pava and the First Technician John Alberto Burbano Guzmán, aeronautical maintenance specialists with more than 20 years of experience at the service of the FAC. Their extensive experience and knowledge enabled them to lead this international training, sharing the best activities in the maintenance of the C-208 Caravan aircraft and contributing to the strengthening of the technical resources of the Salvadoran Air Force personnel.
