Working for the security of the citizens of the Department of Tolima, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 4 (CACOM-4), intensifies its surveillance and control tasks in the municipality of Melgar with the aim of working to promote the tranquility and well-being of its inhabitants.
Through constant air patrols, security is provided in atypical elections, exercising presence in the skies of the region, directly supporting citizen security, the protection of road routes and the prevention of situations that may disturb law and order.
The deployment of aircraft of the CACOM-4 responds to the permanent commitment to the region, working hand in hand with the local authorities and the people to provide confidence and support to the people of Melgar.
Air operations have in the same way been carried out to monitor and protect voting points. These missions have been fundamental to identify possible irregularities or circumstances that may disturb the security and calm environment of citizens during the electoral activity.
The collaboration between the Colombian Aerospace Force and the local authorities has been fundamental to coordinate these electoral security operations, this joint work has led to establish a favorable environment for the inhabitants of the region, reaffirming the commitment to the mission of protecting national sovereignty.
