The Colombian Air Force in coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center (CNRP) and the National Army continues to support Colombians in remote areas of the national territory. On this occasion, it conducted the aeromedical transfer of an 11-month-old girl who urgently required a liver transplantation to save her life.

This transfer was made from Santa Rosa, in the department of Bolívar, where the National Army had a helicopter to transport the girl and her family to the Barrancabermeja, in the department of Santander, where the King 350 ambulance aircraft, of the Military Transport Air Command, was waiting for her; during the flight, the baby was monitored and stabilized by the crew and the medical team.

Once the aircraft landed in the capital of the country, the minor was sent to the health facility where she will undergo surgery, since her condition requires specialized assistance to ensure her well-being; the aeromedical transfer in the same way had the support of the Air Combat Command No. 3, which carried out the necessary coordination with the Joint Task Force Marte for the timely transfer of the minor.
