In joint operation it was possible the arrest of three men transporting narcotic drugs on a speedboat

In the maritime zone of the department of La Guajira, thanks to the joint work conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the Colombian Navy, a ship carrying narcotics, allegedly belonging to several organized Criminal Groups, was detected.

Through the timely interception of the Coast Guard Rapid Reaction Unit in conjunction with the air support of surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, it was possible the arrest of three men who were on board a go fast, which were put into custody of the authorities. In the same way, bags of narcotics were found by troops, which were identified as 323 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.

With these operations, the structure of criminal organizations that commit crimes such as drug trafficking will continue to weaken, for which the Colombian Air Force will continue to monitor the northern region of the country in maritime interception operations to work to maintain legality in the national territory.
