In the departments of Magdalena and Atlántico, a coordinated inspection operation was carried out on the aircraft of seven airfields.

Following an inspection of 72 aircraft conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, two aircraft were administratively immobilized in the department of Magdalena, failing to submit the required documentation up to date, in violation of Resolution 024 of 10 June 2006, issued by the National Narcotics Council, which issued measures to control civil aviation and other provisions.

The control mission to the aeronautical infrastructure was carried out in five airfields in the department of Magdalena and two in Atlántico, where the authorities reviewed the documents required for flight activity at Ernesto Cotissoz Airport, and the aerodromes La Ceiba, La Amalia, Orihueca, La Lucha, Sevillano and Los Campanos.

These operations are carried out with the aim of reducing the intention of illegal criminal organizations to use air assets and airport infrastructure.
