The Colombian Air Force participated in a great reforestation activity, within the framework of the commemoration of this special date in which the different Institutions joined efforts to save the water tributaries.
The activity took place in El Porvenir neighborhood of the municipality of Rionegro, Antioquia, together with the National Army, the Police, the Mayor's Office of Rionegro, the Somer Foundation, the Rionegro Habitat Secretariat and the Alianza Compromiso de Corazón Foundation, in which more than 700 trees were planted on the Negro River.
Actions are constantly coordinated to generate awareness about the preservation of resources, so that more and more people are guarding the most powerful engine in the world: water.
In this way, the Colombian air force contributes to the conservation of natural resources and the improvement of air quality, ratifying the commitment of the Air Institution to the environment.
