Air Combat Command No.4 of the Colombian Air Force distributed aid to five families in the neighborhood of la Colorada, in Melgar, Tolima, who have been adversely hit by the difficult situation of the country not only because of the pandemic, but due to the blockages that impede the transport of food due to the national strike and the heavy rains of the last few days in the municipality.

Families with limited resources that have been hit by the ravages of rains, including a mother of five children who lost their appliances and essential items in her home due to the heavy rains, for this reason, CACOM 4 distributed precursors that can help solve this difficult situation.

In the same way, four other families received aid materialized in food baskets, because they have different special conditions that make it difficult for them to have their normal tasks for the maintenance of their homes, according to Marisol Cardozo, president of the Community action Board of the neighborhood, who thanked the act that was chaired by the Department of Comprehensive Action of the unit.
