Colombian Air Force encourages demobilization through aerial loudspeakers

This year different members of the narcoterrorist organizations have demobilized, motivated through messages transmitted by air loudspeakers, launching brochures from aircraft and radio spots of the Colombian Air Force.

With a suitable helicopter, appropriate technical and climatic conditions, a powerful loudspeaker equipment and a clear and decisive message, the members of the illegal groups who feel trapped in the guerrilla ranks, find a foothold to push themselves to desertion and demobilize.

Another tool used is the brochures, which directly reach these individuals, as well as the radio, which is fundamental in the transmission of messages; the spots complement this strategy that has led many guerrillas to make the decision to demobilize.

In this way, the Colombian Air Force persists in its objective of achieving demobilizations through operations with social responsibility throughout the National territory, aimed at defeating the will to fight of illegal Navy structures.
