For three days the Conference for Strengthening the Environmental Management of the Colombian Air Force was held. It was an academic event that was attended by officers and non-commissioned officers belonging to the Squadrons and / or Environment Elements of all the units of the Institution, in order to ratify the commitment for the protection of the natural heritage of the Nation.

The inauguration was attended by Brigadier General Henry Quintero, Commander of the FAC Support Command (designated), who presented the 'Ceiba Seed' award, granted by the Office of Environmental Management to the Air Combat Command No.6 , in recognition of environmental management not only within the Unit, but in the same way for its excellent initiatives and active participation in favor of the conservation of natural resources as patrimony of the Nation.

The conference was attended by important exhibitors that led to strengthen and update the knowledge of the attendants.

To conclude this meeting, a field trip was made to the Guatavita Lagoon in Cundinamarca, with the aim of interacting, sharing knowledge and conducting an outdoor workshop, as well as the granting of the participation certificates by the Colonel Adriana Bermúdez, Head of the Office of Environmental Management.
