In Neiva, Huila, the Colombian Air Force, with its personnel, benefits 65 low-income families with humanitarian aid, cleaning kits and products of the family basket benefiting around 350 people, including heads of household, children and elderly.

These humanitarian aid have been achieved thanks to the efforts made by the Air Combat Command No. 4 along with companies such as ROA rice and Postobón and the Mercacentro supermarket, who in solidarity have actively joined the campaigns carried out by our Institution in everything related to social responsibility and responding to the call for the health emergency experienced by the covid-19 that has left hundreds of people hit.

With this aid, it has been possible to reach neighborhoods, villages and municipalities of Tolima and part of Huila; together with the presidents of the Community Action Boards and their social leaders, efforts have been focused on families in vulnerable situations.

During the distribution of these nutritional kits, families have been given information on the importance of taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus, emphasizing constant hand washing and the use of face masks.
