Through the operational effort with the C-130 Hercules, C-40 Atlas and C-295 aircraft, the Colombian Air Force still transports machinery, water, biosecurity elements and processed foods, construction materials to build prefabricated houses.
Five thousand prepared meals, four thousand fruits and a thousand snacks of the World Center Kitchen Foundation are transported daily by aircraft of the Caribbean Air Group for the inhabitants hit by the hurricane IOTA on the islands of Providencia and Santa Catalina.
This effort is carried out in coordination with the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, Military Forces, National Police and non-profit organizations.
Indeed, the Colombian Air Force is ready to serve the community of the island on a constant basis, engaging its aircraft to deploy its wings of hope and work 24 hours a day for the reconstruction of the archipelago.
