The Colombian Air Force, through the Comando Aéreo de Transporte Militar (Military Transport Air Command) -CATAM, on a Boeing C-40 aircraft carried more than 9,000 kilos of humanitarian aid and still supporting plans of the National Government to provide support for the emergency of the archipelago of San Andrés and Providencia.
The cargo transported, composed of nutritional basket kits and basic elements, will help mitigate the effects of the natural phenomenon and will benefit the vulnerable inhabitants of the island.
Air transport missions are carried out under all biosecurity procedures and measures implemented by the institution, taking care of each pilot and crew member.
The Air Force continues to comply with the country, transporting, day and night, aid and vital elements for the reconstruction of the archipelago.
