With the high numbers of infected by the virus of COVID-19 in the department of Casanare and attending the call of the Governor and the Secretary of Health Department, the Colombian Air Force of the Air Group of Casanare, GACAS, carried out the transfer of an interdisciplinary team of health, to support medical care in the Indigenous reservation Caño Mochuelo, Casanare, which reported an outbreak of infection with the virus in recent days.
On a flight of the UH-60 Black Hawk of the Air Force, the medical personnel of the Departmental Health Secretariat, made of epidemiologists, bacteriologists and public health assistants, who will support the team of health professionals of the municipalities of Hato Corozal and Paz de Ariporo, Casanare, was transported.
With this activity, it is expected to provide support to 472 people of the indigenous reservation, who have been harmed by the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 virus; through a survey established by the National Health Institute, it seeks to carry out the selective tracking of possible infections in the reservation and in the same way take preventive measures.
