Responding the call for life, in a mission against the clock, the Colombian Air Force sent a C-90 aircraft to carry out the transfer of a vital organ, required by a patient in delicate health, who was urgently waiting for a heart transplant.

This operation was coordinated through the Resources of the National Personnel Recovery Center - CENRP, in charge of medical transfers of humanitarian hospitals, to take off of the Military Transport Air Command to reach the Air Combat Command No.5, in Rionegro, Antioquia, where the organ donor was.

Medical personnel gave the heart in optimal health conditions, complying with safety protocols to the crew of the aircraft, who in the shortest possible time, arrived at the Air Combat Command No.7 in Cali, where he was being waited for by an ambulance and medical personnel, to finally conduct the surgery in a timely manner in a hospital unit.
