Colombian army and the Prosecutor's Office arrested five people in Bogota

Ejército y Fiscalía capturaron a cinco personas en Bogotá

Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Plan and the military operation of the Democracy Plan, troops of the 13th Tequendama Medium Cavalry Group of the Thirteenth Brigade, in coordination with the Bogotá Sectional Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), reported the arrest of five people wanted with an arrest warrant in force for different crimes in the capital city of the country.

 

The arrests were carried out in different localities of Bogotá through review, control and coordinated actions with the judicial authorities. Among the crimes for which these arrests were made are:

 

   * Two arrests for the alleged crime of sexual act with a child under 14, in the locality of Suba.

 

   * Two arrests for the alleged crime of aggravated theft, in the localities of Engativá and Kennedy.

 

   * Association to commit crimes with aggravated qualified theft, in the locality of Puente Aranda.

 

Those arrested were put into custody of the authorities to conduct the respective judicial processes.

 

In this way, the troops of the Thirteenth Brigade of Colombian National Army reaffirm their commitment to the security, coexistence and well-being of the inhabitants of Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
