Cesar. In recent hours, troops of the Tenth Brigade, of the First Division of the National Army, dismantled an illegal hideout with material of war, in the hamlet La Victoria de San Isidro, municipality of La Jagua de Ibirico, in the department of Cesar.
The finding was made by men of the Special, Energy and Roads Battalion No. 2 and the Sijin of the National Police of Valledupar, who found the illegal hideout buried 70 cm depth on the side of a hamlet pathway; apparently it belonged to the Front Juan Manuel Martínez Quiroz of the organized armed group Eln.
During the military operation, a short weapon, eight 5.56-millimeter magazines, 100 5.56-millimeter cartridges, five IM-26 hand grenades, a base radio, two short-range communication radios, a flag and bracelets alluding to the ELN troops and uniforms of exclusive use of the Public Force were found.
