During the December season, the Colombian Air Force, through the Grupo Aéreo del Oriente, accompanies the roads of the far east of Colombia by air and land, with crews and aircraft prepared to strengthen security at the end of the year holidays.
With the Travel safely campaign, the Air Force will fly over the region at different times, to ensure the tranquility of families, keeping crews on alert to face any situation that may disturb law and order.
Helicopters and planes of the Institution constantly carry out overflights on the villages of the department of Vichada; in the same way, through a powerful aerial loudspeakers equipment, prevention messages are broadcasted.
