The experience and knowledge of the personnel of the Colombian Aerospace Force continue to be references in international environments. On this occasion, members of the Air Combat Command No. 1 gave the Course of Administration of the military operation of the Electromagnetic Spectrum at the Mariscal Sucre Air Base, in Quito, Ecuador.
For three weeks, fifteen military of the Military Forces of Ecuador, belonging to the Army, Navy and Air Force, received specialized instruction focused on the management, planning and use of the military operation of this domain, considered an essential component for joint military operations.
As part of the academic process, the instructors of the National Air and Anti-aircraft Defense System School addressed content related to the fundamentals of the electromagnetic spectrum, electronic protection, among others, leading theoretical-practical exercises oriented to the analysis of environments, planning and decision-making of the military operation.
Through these academic environments, the Institution strengthens the exchange of experiences, regional integration and specialized skills conducted by allied countries, contributing to interoperability and the strengthening of strategic resources in fundamental areas for the security and defense of the hemisphere.
