As part of the Ayacucho Plan, the Thirteenth Brigade, a of the Fifth Division of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, arrested in Bogotá alias Alex Primo, alleged ringleader of an organized crime group that sold weapons to the GAO-r Farc
After 3 months of investigation, troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Thirteenth Brigade, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Tolima Sectional Prosecutor's Office, arrested this individual, accused of obtaining weapons, ammunition and explosives, as well as military accessories material in the departments of Arauca, Cauca, Cundinamarca and Tolima.
The arrest was made in the municipality of Usme, Bogotá, by judicial order, for the crimes of association to commit crimes for extortion purposes and the manufacture, trafficking and carrying of weapons, ammunition or explosives of restricted or exclusive use of the Military Forces.
