Within the framework of sustained military operations against drug trafficking and organized armed groups, troops of the Airborne Infantry Battalion No. 20, of the Seventh Brigade, in joint work with the Colombian Aerospace Force and in coordination with the National Police, find and neutralize an illegal hideout of weapons belonging to the Martín Villa Substructure, of the residual organized armed group (GAO-r), in the village of La Floresta, municipality of El Castillo, department of Meta.

This important result of the military operation directly hits the logistical and armed resources of this illegal structure, weakening its criminal acts and limiting its intentions of territorial expansion.
The elements were destroyed in controlled conditions by specialized personnel of the SIJIN and the Explosives and Demolitions Group (EXDE) of Colombian National Army, strictly complying with the established protocols.
