In compliance with the guidelines of the Ayacucho Plan, Colombian National Army arrested by court order the individual accused of being alias John Pinilla, alleged ringleader of the Support Networks for the Residual Structures (RAE-r) of the residual organized armed group, GAO-R.
According to the authorities, Jhon Pinilla is accused, with two other men, one of them known as El Mono, of allegedly being the perpetrators of kidnapping, extortion and subsequent murder of a woman in the department of Meta.
The judicial operation was an inter-institutional coordination work, in which Colombian National Army, the Colombian Aerospace Force, the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office and the Police of the Department of Meta participated. The arrested man was put into custody of the authority in charge of his respective judicial process, for the crimes of extortion kidnapping, forced disappearance and aggravated homicide.
