This individual would be responsible for causing forced displacements in several sectors of Bajo Cauca Antioque帽o.
In the framework of military operations conducted by the Colombian National Army, in coordination with the Police, troops of the Eleventh Brigade arrest in the middle of a combat, two individuals apparently belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, alias 5-7, area and urban ringleader of the substructure Uldar Cardona Rueda, and alias M谩scara.
Alias 5-7 would have been in illegally for more than 22 years, and would be in charge of ordering multiple homicides and the collection of money from extortions. In the same way, this individual is accused of being the mastermind of the attack against a surveillance patrol of the National Police, where three people were injured; he would in the same way be responsible for participating in attacks against public officials in 2021, facts that are under investigation.
In the same military operation carried out in the sector known as El Escarralao, in the municipality of Zaragoza, Antioquia, alias M谩scara was arrested; this individual is accused of the execution of multiple murders and criminal operations against the Military Forces and civilians.
A pistol, a revolver, a hand grenade and ammunition of different calibers were in the same way found in the operation. The arrested were put into custody of the authorities to continue with the prosecution process.
With these arrests, the GAO Clan del Golfo loses a ringleader with extensive criminal experience, a fact that disturbs the direction and orientation towards middle managers in the Bajo Cauca of Antioquia. In addition, the criminal operations of the organized armed group in the area where these individuals committed crimes are weakened.
