Along with this ringleader, another member known as alias John is arrested. These individuals would be involved in the murder of three people in the south of Tolima.
A powerful blow was struck by the 17th Infantry Battalion General Domingo Caicedo, of the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police and the Aerospace Force, against the Isaías Pardo Central Bloc, terrorist support networks (RAER), of the GAO-r Ismael Ruiz Front, San Antonio Group, by means of a search warrant of the 164 Prosecutor's Office against criminal organizations, which led to the arrest of alias El Tuerto and alias John.
In the village El Patio, municipality of San Antonio, it was possible to find alias el Tuerto, in charge of coordinating and obtaining military accessories, war material and food for the structure, and alias John, who would be a hitman of the structure and in charge of executing the selective homicides. Apparently, they would be responsible for the murders of Yohan Alape, in the village of Tres Esquinas; Julián Peralta, in the village of Playarrica, and Willy Dagua, in the village of La Palmira, who were killed in 2023 and 2024.
These individuals have more than two years of experience as part of the RAER of this illegal armed group.
During the procedure, troops found two banners alluding to the Geronimo Galeano Front, of the Isaías Pardo Central Bloc, and a cell phone.
The individuals were arrested for the alleged crimes association to commit aggravated crimes, aggravated homicides, trafficking, manufacturing and carrying of weapons for personal use.
This result of the military operation is part of a whole coordination of prosecution by the Military Forces, which has led to arrest members of the GAO-r Frente Ismael Ruiz in the municipality of San Antonio.
In 2025, alias El Zarco, Useche and Risas, ringleaders of the armed branch of this GAO-r, were in the same way arrested, who are linked in 13 homicides in 2023 and 2024. By means of these arrests, the Ismael Ruiz Front group, which was committing crimes in San Antonio, would be being dismantled.
