Colombian National Army continues to strengthen its military presence in the Catatumbo region through a permanent military operation conducted in strategic sectors, aimed at preserving the integrity of the inhabitants, consolidating territorial control and strengthening security in areas hit by the clashes of organized armed groups.
These procedures are part of a joint operation, executed together with the Colombian Aerospace Force and in coordination with the National Police, which carries out precise and sustained interventions against the criminal structures responsible for generating environments of violence that directly hit rural communities.
