So far this year, the troops have dismantled 21 laboratories for cocaine hydrochloride.
As part of Operation Catatumbo, National Army troops, in coordination with the National Police, found and dismantled a laboratory in Buena Esperanza, C煤cuta, where 223 kilos of cocaine were found by troops, ready for transport and commercialization.
The laboratory, made of five rudimentary structures, would be at the service of the illicit activities of the Reinaldo Ardila G贸mez Urban Front, of the organized armed group GAO ELN.
The troops found about 700 gallons of acetone, 290 of DIESEL, 100 kilograms of caustic soda and 80 of permanganate.
In the search on the area, equipment, machinery and elements used in the production of the drug were found by troops.
So far this year, the troops have dismantled 21 laboratories for cocaine hydrochloride and 101 for coca paste base, heavily hitting the illicit activities of the armed groups specialized in drug trafficking in the Department of Norte de Santander.
