In this military operation it was possible the death of two members of the Erlín Pino Duarte Substructure.
In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, the Second Brigade, a military unit attached to the First Division of Colombian National Army, carried out a successful operation against members of the Erlín Pino Duarte Substructure, of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo del Golfo, in the village of Río Amarillo, of the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur, Bolívar.
During this military operation, a combat was reported, where it was possible the death in the framework of operations of two individuals and the arrest of three alleged members of the Clan del Golfo. In the same way, the finding of four rifles, a pistol, two revolvers and elements of military accessories, used by this structure for its criminal operations in the region, was also reported.
This powerful blow against organized crime shows the commitment of Colombian National Army to work to increase the security, order and safety of the inhabitants.
