The Joint Task Force Marte seizes 3,120 gallons of DIESEL and 480 gallons of gasoline in southern Bolívar.
Troops of the Mechanized Infantry Battalion No.4, in an operation to strengthen the military presence in the territory, find 3,600 gallons of fuel in El Platanal, in the municipality of Tiquisio, south of Bolívar.
The discovery of this material by the troops of the National Army was possible thanks to intelligence provided by the Civic Participation Network, which led the soldiers to inspect a truck-type vehicle in road checkpoint; the truck carried this flammable liquid inside.
At the time of requesting the certificates for the possession and movement of the fuel, the driver does not present the required documentation, so the confiscation proceeds.
To date, the Marte Joint Task Force has found 20,896 gallons of fuel in this department, at an approximate cost of $ 173'436,800 pesos. During this military operation no arrests were made and the fuel was put into custody of the Police Inspector of this municipality.
