Ejército Nacional afectó las finanzas ilícitas del GAO ELN en aproximadamente 5.153 millones de pesos

In the framework of military interception and air assault operations, the illicit finances of this armed group were hit; troops prevent the marketing of 824,000 doses of the drug.

Within the framework of the Campaign Plan of the Ayacucho Plus military operation, in the department of Cesar, troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, CONAT, in coordination with the National Police, found 824 kilograms of cocaine in the village of Quebrada Seca, in the municipality of Río de Oro, found in a laboratory for the production of illicit substances.

The coca complex made of three constructions that would be part of the illicit finances of the GAO ELN, in front of Camilo Torres Restrepo, would cost 5153 million pesos.

At the scene, the troops found 1,453 gallons of N-propyl acetate; 130 gallons of gasoline, 105 gallons of DIESEL, 90 gallons of cocaine hydrochloride in suspension and 485 kilograms of solid substances. In addition to equipment necessary for the production of narcotics.

Through intelligence information, it was found that this coca-growing enclave had a monthly production capacity of one and a half tons of drugs, which were sent of the Catatumbo region, department of Norte de Santander, to Mexico and the United States, crossing Lake Maracaibo, in Venezuela, and the Caribbean.

This military operation against the ELN prevented the circulation of 824,000 doses of cocaine.
