The Institution provides logistical support to facilitate the transportation of donations collected in different cities of the country, strengthening the coordinated work conducted by public, private institutions and civil society.
Colombian National Army joined the initiative promoted by various media to support humanitarian aid for families affected by the recent emergency reported in Venezuela, contributing its logistical resources to facilitate the collection, loading, transportation and distribution of donations to the border area.
In Bogotá, soldiers of the Institution supported the work of loading the items collected at the Food Bank, from where an important shipment left for the department of Norte de Santander for later distribution to the affected communities.
In parallel, in different regions of the country, Comprehensive Action units of Colombian National Army work in coordination with food banks, local authorities, social organizations and other institutions linked to this solidarity campaign, supporting the processes of selection, classification, loading and unloading of the supplies donated by thousands of Colombians.
Non-perishable food, drinking water, toiletries, clothes, blankets, medicines and other vulnerable first-aid items are part of this aid, the transportation of which is possible thanks to inter-institutional coordination and the commitment of those who have decided to stand in solidarity with the affected families.
This operation reflects the commitment of the Military Forces to acts of humanitarian assistance and support to communities facing emergency situations, contributing to the well-being and care of those who need it most.
