Colombian National Army recovered natural reserve in Bogotá

cogfm-ejercito-brigada13-medio-ambiente-artemisa-03.jpg

In a coordinated effort, six people were captured and at least 300 more were removed, which for some days had been damaging the Entrenubes ecological zone.

Thanks to the operation carried out by troops of the Artillery Battalion No.13 Fernando Landazábal Reyes, the National Police and officials of the local municipality of Usme, it was possible to recover the land occupied by more than 300 invaders who remained in the Entrenubes ecological reserve, in southern Bogotá.

During the procedure, six people were captured, who allegedly promoted the invasion and houses tent type, with plastics, tiles, among other garbage residues, were removed. These houses contaminated the ecosystem, where burns and destruction of the habitat leave irreversible damage. In the same way, the authorities recovered the land invaded by the offenders whose fundamental rights were guaranteed.

With the Environmental Bubble Project, the National Army, through the command of the 13th Brigade of the National Army, promotes effective solutions and operations for the care, restoration and preservation of natural resources and invites citizens to join this noble cause, reporting any suspicious act that may hit our natural heritage by the toll free line 147
