In less than 24 hours, National Army troops recovered six vehicles reported as stolen and that would belong to the Concretol company, at the plant in Honda. The theft of the vehicles would have occurred during the early morning of Sunday, March 29, 2026.
Soldiers of the 16th Patriotas Infantry Battalion, of the Sixth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, carried out search tasks that led to finding the vehicles in the village of Los Achiles, in the municipality of La Dorada, department of Caldas. The finding was possible after an investigative and review process in a rural area, where the cars were found by troops on a tertiary road and subsequently put into custody of the authorities.
The criminal act was promptly reported by the company to the regional authorities, which achieved an immediate reaction and the recovery of the elements in a short period of time. The vehicles, which still had the logos of the company, were secured and the corresponding procedures for their recovery were carried out.
At the same time, the authorities are continuing with investigations based on evidentiary elements such as searches by security cameras and other relevant information, in order to identify and arrest those responsible for this theft.
