Colombian National Army seized 9.5 kilos of marijuana in Isnos, Huila, in a military operation against drug trafficking to weaken the finances of the illegal structures that commit crimes in the department of Huila.
Through territorial control operations, men of the 27th Magdalena Infantry Battalion, of the Ninth Brigade, have in the last few hours found approximately 13 packages, which by their smell, color and texture are assimilated to marijuana.
This result is given at a checkpoint conducted by the soldiers in the village of El M谩rmol, municipality of Isnos, southwest of the department of Huila. There, the troops made the stop signal to some individuals traveling on two motorcycles, who, upon noticing the soldiers' activity, backed up busily, abandoning a black bag and fleeing the place.
Troops proceeded to check the abandoned items, where they found a black bag with marijuana, distributed in 13 packages and weighing approximately 9.5 kilos. This material was put into custody of the National Police for the prosecution process.
